Sales Development Representative

Ingu Solutions is a venture-funded, Calgary-based technology company, revolutionizing how oil and gas companies maintain and protect their pipeline assets and in return our environment.

Oil and gas pipelines are critical assets within our economy and like so much of the world’s underlying infrastructure, they are aging and vulnerable to climate events. Unlike our roads, bridges rail and pipelines they are often hidden from view, expensive to reach, and for the 40 per cent of the world’s pipelines, completely untouchable using current inspection technologies. Our Pipers are providing oil and gas companies with immediate and affordable access to pipeline assets even in the most challenging conditions.

Ingu is currently seeking a dedicated Sales Development Representative. As Sales Development Representative you have a strong hunter mentality and are driven by the challenge of surpassing sales targets. You will be cold calling daily, reaching out directly to our North American targets to identify customer fit, qualify leads, and engage them in the first step of the sales cycle.

We’re focused on making this role exciting, challenging, and rewarding. You will be working with Account Managers and alongside the company founders and data scientists who will provide product insight and knowledge that will allow you to continuously learn.’

*To start this will be a role will be solely a lead generation role.

This Sales Development Representative role is a full-time position with a starting salary based on experience plus commission.

What your day looks like:

  • Generate and qualify leads and sales opportunities by making outbound phone calls to customers; initiating calls for new accounts; responding to inbound inquiries.
  • Discover new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging
  • Support Ingu Solution’s marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaigns
  • Educating prospective customers about our Pipers® technology and its applicable uses
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities including calls, emails, conversation notes, and follow-up activities within Zoho CRM
  • Following up on marketing incentives and marketing leads
  • Promote events, courses, continuing education and products to customers and prospects over the phone

What you bring to the table:

  • The ability to think on your feet and answer unexpected questions with ease
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Go-getter attitude! “No” doesn’t stop you – it only makes you think of other ways to go for the “Yes”
  • Strong passion for sales and sales processes
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience using a CRM such as Zoho
  • Experience using Linked In and social media sites to develop leads
  • Experience working in the O&G industry is an asset

Account Manager – United States

Ingu Solutions is a North American based venture-funded, technology company, revolutionizing how oil and gas companies maintain and protect their pipeline assets and in return our environment. We currently require an Account Manager to leverage our continued growth within the U.S. oil and gas industry.

About Us:

Pipers® are an affordable and easy-to-deploy screening tool that identifies risks and performance issues in pipelines. They fit in every diameter and condition of pipeline and are especially suitable for small-diameter pipelines (8 inch and below). They detect and locate leaks, defects, magnetic features, and restrictions in all pipelines — with no interruption of service.

What we’re looking for:

Ingu is currently seeking a driven Account Manager to join our team. To be successful in this role must be hunter with a results-oriented mindset, a passion for surpassing sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.

  • The Account Manager is primarily responsible for acquiring new clients and effectively maintaining relationships with INGU’s existing client base within Oil and Gas industry. What your day looks like:
  • Promote INGU’s Pipers® technology through active networking and participation in Oil & Gas industry associations and other sales related events
  • Creating and executing account plans
  • Achievement of both revenue and margin targets
  • Proactively manage client relationships and sales opportunities beyond the customer’s perceived needs or requirements, present solutions and close sales
  • Continuous CRM management with all current sales opportunities
  • Maintain a very high frequency of client contact to acquire new clients/projects and ensure client retention
  • Communicate across the entire internal team to ensure project feasibility, exceptional service, target progress, and available capacity
  • Generate and present business performance reviews for all the assigned client base
  • Perform other related duties as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience (preferably in Oil & Gas)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal driven and self-motivated
  • You are confident using a CRM such as Zoho
  • Quick learner and self-starter comfortable in a new and non-structured environment
