Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Electronics Developer with knowledge of embedded systems to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for designing and developing the next generation of our Pipers® technology. The Electronics Engineer will collaborate with the team to push the boundaries of what technology can do.

Responsibilities

  • Design, inspect, test, calibrate, and update Pipers® components, equipment, and software.
  • Observe existing processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
  • Write specifications, instructions, and reports, and handle other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on electronics design
  • Proficiency with EDA software such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCad
  • Experience with digital and analog system design, datasheets, and electrical component selection
  • Experience with Microcontroller and Microprocessor system design and firmware programming
  • Understanding of digital interfaces (SPI, I2C, etc.) and sensor signal conditioning and acquisition
  • Exposure to programming with C/C++, Python, and Version Control (Git)
  • Familiarity with ARM and AVR Architectures
  • Experience with mechanical CAD software such as Solidworks or Fusion 360
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
