Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Electronics Developer with knowledge of embedded systems to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for designing and developing the next generation of our Pipers® technology. The Electronics Engineer will collaborate with the team to push the boundaries of what technology can do.
Responsibilities
- Design, inspect, test, calibrate, and update Pipers® components, equipment, and software.
- Observe existing processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
- Write specifications, instructions, and reports, and handle other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar
- 3+ years of experience in hands-on electronics design
- Proficiency with EDA software such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCad
- Experience with digital and analog system design, datasheets, and electrical component selection
- Experience with Microcontroller and Microprocessor system design and firmware programming
- Understanding of digital interfaces (SPI, I2C, etc.) and sensor signal conditioning and acquisition
- Exposure to programming with C/C++, Python, and Version Control (Git)
- Familiarity with ARM and AVR Architectures
- Experience with mechanical CAD software such as Solidworks or Fusion 360
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
