Marketing and Communications Coordinator

INGU is a Calgary/Houston based venture-funded, technology company, revolutionizing how oil and gas companies and water utilities companies maintain and protect their pipeline assets and in return our environment. We currently require a Marketing and Communication Coordinator to leverage our continued growth in the global oil and gas industry and water utilities.

About us

Oil, gas and water pipelines are critical assets within our economy and like so much of the world’s underlying infrastructure, they are aging and vulnerable to climate events. Our Pipers® solution provide timely, condition-critical insights for pipeline integrity. The unique self-serve inline inspection system is designed for operational conditions, which translates into a 100% uptime and the ability to perform inspections where and when the operator wants. Pipers® data is highly repeatable making it ideal for monitoring changes in pipeline condition, keeping the operator on top of leaks, deposits and wall condition in a single run.

What we’re looking for

INGU is currently seeking a Marketing and Communication Coordinator to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you are detailed-oriented, have outstanding written and oral communication in English and time management skills and you are creative with a results-oriented mindset. You have a solid understanding of marketing and communication techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing and communication activities to our target audiences. Your contribution will support the further adoption of our solution, increase traffic to INGU and boost brand awareness.

  • Create, proofread, and edit content for multiple marketing channels, including email, social media, and printed material, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging delivery
  • Ensure social media platform posts and interactions are consistent and timely. Drive social media strategy and monitor performance
  • Organize or assist in the planning of events and trade shows
  • Monitor website to maintain accuracy, including coordination of monthly website reviews and updating content
  • Coordinate Collateral Needs
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications.
  • Past work experience as a marketing, communication coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline sensitive environment
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to work with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
