INGU Pipeline Viewer

Pipers® inspect pipelines for leaks, deposits, and metal loss to mitigate safety and performance issues and optimize pipeline integrity programs. The results are provided in a GIS portal with the option to download the pipe tally.

PPIM IPV - INGU Pipeline Viewer
The results of an inspection will be visualized in the INGU Pipeline Viewer (IPV). The IPV consists of two parts:
  • IPV map – An interactive GIS environment showing the pipeline path and the inspection results on a satellite map
  • IPV table – A table with the pipe tally listing the inspection results
An example of the map is shown in above figure. As can be seen in the legend, all inspection results are marked on the pipeline path.
IPV Map

The IPV map has the following options:

  • Zoom and pan
  • Filter on the features listed in the legend
  • Hover over or click on a feature to get details
  • Add comments to the pipe tally
IPV Table

The table contains the pipe tally and has the following options:

  • Scroll through the data
  • Select an entry to zoom to its location on the map
  • Add comments per feature
  • Export the pipe tally to an Excel file
