Pipeline Inspection Project Manager

Our patented solution pairs a baseball-sized, free-floating multi-sensor device with artificial intelligence powered data analytics.

Pipers® are designed for use in any pipeline configuration and can be deployed under operational conditions, ensuring continuance of service and the ability to act where and when needed. In a single inspection, Pipers® can provide information on leaks and air pockets, deposits, and wall condition.

What we’re looking for

INGU is currently seeking a Pipeline Inspection Project Manager to support our customers in 30 countries around the world. The Pipeline Inspection Project Manager ensures that the project execution meets the clients’ standards as well as internal processes and procedures with maximum productivity and efficiency. The Pipeline Inspection Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of projects starting at the close of a sale and ending at the report delivery to the client.

Specific tasks of the Pipeline Inspection Project Manager include:

  • Will work closely with the client to gather the pipeline, deployment, and logistics information necessary for the project.
  • Ensure that the project information is accurately documented and pro-actively any non-standard details
  • Train the client on the handling and deployment of the Pipers®
  • Coordinate the deployment with the client and keep track of any changes with regards to the project
  • Ensure that the project is completed with accuracy and within the client’s requested time frame

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client contact from the moment a sale is closed until the time that a report is delivered.
  • Ensure that (project specific) customer requests, as well as the pipeline details relevant for the analysis and reporting, are correctly documented and pro-actively shared with the data science team.
  • Initiate deployment preparation calls with clients to verify pipeline specifications and launch and receive methods and provide Pipers® handling instructions and training.
  • Liaise with the sales, manufacturing, and data science team to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency in the project execution.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university (PMP certification preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience related to pipeline, safety, management, or inspection
  • Excellent communication skills, i.e. the ability to convey information effectively, and understand ideas and information presented in writing and verbally including technical drawings and presentations
  • Ability to make good decisions under pressure as well as the ability to accomplish multiple tasks in limited time frames.
  • A self-motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment
